BIG GIVE CHRISTMAS CHALLENGE
Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Winter Fair at Headway Shropshire. We decided to move the annual event into November as you are all so busy in December and what a success it was. I don't think we could of accommodated any more people in our rehabilitation centre.
The Shrewsbury Concert band provided some beautiful music whilst everyone browsed around the stalls and enjoyed a cup of tea with some home made cake.
Every year we are overwhelmed by the generosity of you all donating raffle prizes and making hand made items for us to sell.
It was our most successful fair to date and we raised £1149.65 after expenses.
The name of the REINDEER was CARROT and the name of the ROBIN was ISSIE, both name were selected by clients in the rehabilitation centre.
We are extremely grateful to all the staff, volunteers and supporters who volunteered their time to help set up, look after the stalls and tidy up after the event.
Hats for Headway Day takes place during Action for Brain Injury Week on Friday 12th May 2017 and is a simple, fun, and easy way to raise money for brain injury survivors around the UK.
All you have to do to get involved is wear a wacky hat, donate £1 to Headway Shropshire and post a picture on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram using the hashtag #HatsForHeadway

Why do I have to pledge to fund-raise?

The money you fund-raise will not only help us in our mission to improve life after brain injury, but it can also help you get better quality food, sleep or other perks during your challenge. The highest fundraiser or group will benefit of these perks, so it’s in your own interest to increase your fundraising efforts!

Unfortunately running charitable activities means that we need further funding to ensure the people affected by brain injury receive the services we provide. Your fundraising is what will help us achieve our charitable goals and we cannot accept just the full cost of the ticket.
What happens if I do not
fund-raise the pledged amount?
You will be given fundraising support from our Headway all the way through, to ensure that doesn’t happen. If for some reason the target is not achieved, we will be in touch with you. We reserve the right to offer your space to another participant.
